Q. Do you have to be from hamilton to submit?
A. No. We have had submissions from all over the world.

Q. What can be submitted?
A. Short films, documentaries, music videos, bands of all genres.

Q. When will selections be made?
A. Submission Deadline is June 1, selections are made by June 5th and will be posted to hmff.com.

Q.Who selects the bands and films?
A.The selection committee is made up of people from many different industries including marketing, education, filmmakers, musicians, record labels and lots more. We try to have a group of people that are diverse in their opinions and preferences.

Q. I’m in a band. Why should I submit?
A. Every artist/band that is selected for the festival will receive a 1080P HD, multi-camera DSLR live recording of one song from their performance, shot and edited by the talented crew @HeartstringsTV www.heartstringstv.com. Many artists selected at our festival have signed with various level labels, and gained tons of fans along the way. We also have some major awards up for grabs including studio time, rental vouchers, music video shoots, and lots more.

Q. Can I submit more than 1 film?
A. Yes you can submit as many as you want. 1 entry fee is required per entry.
